I had a wonderful stay at a lovely B&B located in a charming old building. The warm welcome I received upon arrival made me feel instantly at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with luxury bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. The highlight of my stay was the delicious home cooked breakfast, made with high quality ingredients and served with a smile. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The beautiful garden was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink. Despite a couple of minor niggles, such as low ceilings and the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room, these didn't detract from my overall enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a historic setting with fantastic personal service. I had a great time at the B&B and would highly recommend it.

Our 2-night stay at this B&B was the perfect start to our summer trip. The 700-year-old building has been beautifully repurposed, offering comfortable and character-filled rooms. The family room was spacious, with lovely views of the countryside. The cleanliness and hygiene measures were excellent, and the owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The homemade scones upon arrival and the fabulous breakfast were delicious. The garden was also a delightful place to relax. We'll definitely be back soon!

The beach is just a short 20-minute drive away, allowing us to easily enjoy walks along the stunning Eastbourne cliffs. the B&B itself is located in a charming former post office, giving it a unique and cozy atmosphere. the rooms are beautifully refurbished with a touch of 18th-century style, and the spacious family room provided ample space for our entire group. the hosts were extremely helpful and even packed us a breakfast for our early departure.
The ceilings and doorframes in the rooms are quite low, which may be an issue for taller guests.

I arrived at this delightful B&B and was warmly welcomed by the lovely owners. To my surprise, they served me homemade scones and tea upon arrival, which was such a nice touch. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast menu offered a variety of delicious options, all cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients. The garden was a peaceful spot to enjoy tea and sandwiches, which were made just the way I requested. I also appreciated the attention to detail, with the teas and coffee presented in charming Kilner jars. my stay at Scolfes was superb and I highly recommend it.
